Landscape Management

With modern scientific approaches and methods, the teaching and research field of landscape management aims to contribute to an objectively sound and better informed landscape management. The combination of quantitative and modeled information with the more qualitative and normative approach of decision-makers, as well as the scales and cross-sectoral approach play an important role. The aim of our research is also to further develop and adapt the methodological repertoire of the relevant planning instruments to solve new challenges resulting from changes in environmental conditions, social requirements and political-administrative framework conditions.
