Workshops & Guided Tours

You have been admitted to the University of Potsdam, have completed your enrollment or transferred to another degree program and are now waiting for the semester to start. You probably have a lot of questions about how to proceed, how to plan your weekly schedule or how to sign up for a course. We don’t want you to be alone with your questions until the semester actually starts. In addition to our Student Telephone Hotline, our student peer advisors also provide additional offers for a better orientation on campus and during your studies. You can of course also contact the Central Student Advisory Service.

To make your entry into studies easier, we offer a range of workshops that will support you in planning your studies and navigating campus life. Learn how to effectively plan your upcoming semesters, which modules and internships are required, and receive valuable tips on creating your schedule. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the campus and the city of Potsdam, and get to know your new fellow students. We offer tailored support and the opportunity to connect with other students who have children, caregiving responsibilities, and/or disabilities, to help them navigate their academic and personal challenges. Take advantage of these events to get well-prepared for the adventure of studying!

The workshops on planning a schedule are aimed at new students in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.

Please note that you are required to register for most workshops, either by E-Mail or via a link. You can find the information in the last column of the respective tables. Once the maximum number of participants is reached, the tables will be updated accordingly.
