Central Student Advisory Service

A warm welcome from the team of the Central Student Advisory Service (ZSB)! We are your point of contact for all questions relating to your studies and will help you with decisions, orientation, and planning as well as in case of conflicts, problems, and uncertainties – before and during your studies as well as during the transition to a master’s degree program or a profession. Our topics are as diverse as our target group: In addition to one-on-one counseling during individual appointments or walk-in office hours, we also organize a number of group events and workshops. The Central Student Advisory Service at the University of Potsdam follows the counseling understanding of GIBeT, the Society for Information, Counseling, and Therapy at Universities, aligns its work with the principles of the inclusion concept of the University of Potsdam and actively participates across universities in the "Studying in Brandenburg" initiative of the Brandenburg Study Orientation Network – coordinated by the network's coordination office located at the University of Potsdam.
