Over time, you might have a variety of issues, questions, and problems. We want to help you find your way around the University of Potsdam! Stress, anxiety, blockades as well as personal conflicts and family problems can also occur during your studies – if the burden becomes too heavy, the Mental Health Counseling Service will be there for you. Feel free to contact us during drop-in office hours for a shorter conversation or schedule an individual appointment where we can discuss your concerns in more detail.
This offer is targeted at prospective students, current students, and doctoral candidates living under special circumstances – that includes, for example, a disability, chronic illness, or care obligations. Based on your individual needs, the following topics, among others, may be addressed during consultations: Planning and organizing your studies, individual equality measures, academic work (e.g. questions on learning strategies or academic writing techniques), motivation, procrastination and writer’s block. We will be happy to offer you long-term assistance!
