The best experts on getting started at university are our own students; after all, they went through it themselves just one, two or three years ago. You should take advantage of the opportunities presented by numerous student contacts when you begin studying at the University of Potsdam and ask them about the challenges ahead. 

All information and offers for the winter semester 2019/2020 will be posted here in approximately mid-August 2019.

Online Student Advising

Our online advisors will respond via email to all of your questions about starting your studies.

Workshops & Tours

Before you start your studies, our student advisors offer various orientation services, including for those who are changing degree programs in the summer semester of 2018

New International Students

There are additional services for international students who are beginning their university studies.

Tutorials & Departmental Committees

Many departments offer orientation tutorials for new students. Many Departmental Student Representative Committees also organize special events for first-semester students.
