Vielfalt und soziale Ungleichheiten (WS 2018, SS 2019, WS 2019/20, SS 2020)

Kursbeschreibung: Dieses Seminar untersucht die Zusammenhänge zwischen Vielfalt und sozialen Ungleichheiten in zeitgenössischen Gesellschaften, u.a. in Deutschland. Dieses Seminar bereitet zukünftige Lehrer darauf vor, kritische Pädagogen für soziale Gerechtigkeit zu werden. Genauer gesagt, Studenten in diesem Seminar:

  • erlangen Kenntnisse über die Bedeutung von Vielfalt und sozialen Ungleichheiten in der Bildung
  • verstehen größere soziale Kontexte, die individuelle Erfahrungen prägen und Chancen im Leben beschränken oder erweitern
  • erlangen Wissen darüber, wie unser Bildungssystem soziale Ungleichheiten sowohl aufrechterhalten als auch abschwächen kann
