We, your student tutors Amar, Christian, Erika and Hagen, work in the team of the Commissioner for Students with Disabilities to support students of our university. In our team, students with and without health impairments/chronic conditions work closely with Mr. Meile. Regular team meetings help us qualify for our work.
To truly create “one university for everyone”, we offer you our help with organizing your studies and with academic work from a student’s point of view. We are also at your disposal with advice on individual questions and can share our own experiences of everyday student life with you. We also offer you our support for written examinations, if specific help is necessary. All arrangements in this regard are made via Mr. Meile
Please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Dear students, due to the overall situation caused by the coronavirus, in-person office hours will not take place from now on and until further notice. Please contact the respective student advisor via e-mail.
To ensure that we can still lend an ear to students' concerns in times of digital teaching, we are offering you open office hours via Zoom twice a week. Pre-registration is not necessary, just join the meeting at the specified time. It doesn't matter if you want to communicate with us via camera, microphone or chat. A team with equal representation consisting of two tutors will help you tackle the challenges of the digital semester.
Team Amar & Hagen:
Tuesday 12 noon - 01:00 p.m.
Monday 02:00 - 03:00 p.m.
You also have the opportunity to join our mailing list to receive further information on studying with health impairments/chronic conditions. Please contact student tutor Hagen Damm via e-mail to register.
The University Athletic Department has been offering a special concept for students and employees with impairments since the winter semester 2013/2014. Its main focus is on the inclusion and special support sports can offer. Within this framework, the University Athletic Department intends to offer sports classes tailored exclusively for students with impairments on the one hand, while, on the other hand, also offering the opportunity to participate in designated classes alongside people without impairments. The student fitness clubs are also opening their doors and will offer students with impairments the opportunity to receive individual training plans. In all of the above-mentioned areas, you will, of course, have well-trained and sensitized coaches at your disposal. Unfortunately, not all of our sports facilities are accessible without barriers, so individual arrangements might have to be made. The University Athletic Department cordially invites all students with impairments at the university to participate in this project and is happy to once again break down barriers through sports. The concept with all courses and offers can be found on our homepage or is available through the respective contact persons.
