| 1 | donc euh quand j’étais petite je suis allée à une communion chez des cousins que je connaissais pas |
| | so uh when I was a child I went to a Communion with some cousins I didn't know that well |

| | and uh after the Communion we were in the yard |
| 3 | il y avait un étang |
| | there was a pond |
| 4 | et j’étais au bord avec ma cousine et d’autres cousins |
| | and I was at the edge of it with my cousin and other cousins |
| 5 | et euh je l’ai attrapée par les bras |
| | and uh I caught her arm |
| 6 | et je l’ai poussée en avant en faisant mine de la faire tomber dans l’étang |
| | and I pushed her forward pretending I was making her fall into the pond |
| 7 | mais je l’ai rattrapée au dernier moment |
| | but I caught her at the last moment |
| 8 | et ça l’a fait rire sauf que elle était plus jeune que moi |
| | and this made her laugh except she was younger that me |
| 9 | et quand elle a voulu faire la même chose euh au garçon qui était à côté d’elle elle a pas réussi à le rattraper au dernier moment |
| | and when she wanted to do the same uh to the boy who was next to her she couldn't catch him at the last moment |
| 10 | du coup il est tombé la tête la première dans l’eau |
| | so he fell with in the water head-first |
| 11 | et sa sœur euh qui était choquée s’est lancée à sa suite dans l’eau pour le récupérer |
| | and his sister uh who was shocked threw herself into the water after him to take him out |
| 12 | donc euh ma cousine s’est fait gronder à ma place |
| | so uh my cousin was told off in my place |
| 13 | mais je me suis quand même euh |
| | but I did at least uh |
| 14 | j’ai je me suis quand même euh comment excusée pour elle parce que elle s’était fait attraper à ma place |
| | I had I at least uh how apologized for her because she was caught instead of me |
