WarmUP! First-Semester Welcome & Semester Kick-Off

We are opening the new academic year with the semester kick-off event “WarmUP!”. The title is (well) known, but the format is new: the first-semester welcome will take place as part of WarmUP! in the Waschhaus. Afterwards, we will open the Market of Opportunities and the Waschhaus Potsdam will introduce you to its diverse program.

As part of WarmUP!, we would like to welcome first-semester students on October 16, 2025. An interesting and varied program awaits you. The university president and other guests will welcome you and introduce you to different areas of university and student life.

Due to limited seating, participation is only possible with registration. Registration will be available online starting on September 29th, 2025.

You can visit the activities and contributions of the rest of the evening without registering. At 6 p.m., we will open the Market of Opportunities, where university groups and student councils from the University of Potsdam will present themselves, as well as associations from Potsdam. Take a look around to see what's on offer at the university and in the city and how you can get involved. At the same time, various activities will take place in the Waschhaus.
