This year's 'Guido-Reger-Gründungspreis' went to the international start-up ‘CanChip’, founded by molecular biologist Ghazaleh Madanie.

The lecture hall on the Griebnitzsee campus was packed with around 500 guests at the University of Potsdam 2024 New Year's reception. 
University President Prof. Oliver Günther, Ph.D. welcomes the guests to the New Year's reception. 
Honoring outstanding employees of the university administration and the service areas (I): the Chancellor of the University Hendrik Woithe with Maike Geerhardt (Department 1).

Prof. Dr. Marcia Schenck held the laudatory speech for Gerawork Teferra Gizaw, who was awarded the Voltaire Prize for Tolerance, International Understanding and Respect for Difference 2024. 
Gerawork Teferra Gizaw, who was also awarded the Voltaire Prize for Tolerance, International Understanding and Respect for Difference 2024, was unable to attend. His pre-recorded acceptance speech was broadcast on video.

Der Voltaire-Preis für Toleranz, Völkerverständigung und Respekt vor Differenz wird an Amy Lai verliehen. 
Pascal Kienast spricht sein Grußwort beim Neujahrsempfang im Namen des Allgemeinen Studierendenausschusses (AStA).
