University Development Plan – An Attractive Campus Life
An attractive campus life shaped together
A vibrant, inclusive and inspiring campus life is a central pillar of the University Development Plan 2025–2029. To ensure that the diverse ideas and initiatives emerging from the workshops held so far are not only preserved but actively developed and implemented, we are supporting this process through continuous monitoring throughout the entire duration of the University Development Plan. At the same time, with the participatory initiative ‘Attractive Campus 2026–2031’, we are sending a strong signal in favour of co-creation and exchange: in a series of events spanning several years, we are working together to make our campuses even more attractive, open and inclusive places of learning, working and living for all members of the university community.
The focus is on six thematic years, each of which sets a specific priority and drives forward concrete measures: 2026 – Health; 2027 – Promoting Democracy; 2028 – Working Conditions; 2029 – Diversity; 2030 – International Affairs; 2031 – Sustainability.
Goals for this project:
- Shaping an attractive campus life together
- Strengthening a sense of community
- Actively involving university staff and students in the ‘Campus Brauhausberg’ development process
- Promoting democratic structures by empowering change agents within the administration
All university staff and students are welcome to get involved – because a vibrant campus is created by the people who shape it.
