International Career Day 2025
How do I apply for jobs in Germany? What should I know about German work culture? And how do I find a job that truly suits me? On November 12, the Career Service is hosting its third International Career Day, addressing these and similar questions about job search and career orientation. In addition to inspiring short workshops, space to ask individual questions, and an exchange with experts. As part of International Week, this event is designed specifically for international students, and all offers will be in English. We look forward to seeing you!

Stream: Can’t make it in person to Neues Palais? Parts of the International Career Day will take place online.

If you would like to talk about your writing project come by! A trained writing tutorwill work together with you on your writing project.
We can help you with your term paper, your thesis, a portfolio, or even an application form . Feel free to get in touch at any stage of your writing process. Our trained writing tutors will help you to understand your writing type, explain the writing process, and provide feedback on your text. You decide how often you want to meet.
We enjoy helping students from different disciplines and all study programmes. However, if you are an international M.A. student at the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Human Sciences you may prefer to contact your disciplinary writing tutor.

Please note: By arrangement, you have the option of sending us up to three pages of your text in advance. This way, we are already familiar with your text when you come for consultation. Please send us an e-mail with your request. This will enable us to prepare for the consultation in the best possible way: schreibberatung@uni-potsdam.de
For INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS in Master's programs, disciplinary writing tutors (english/german) have been available at the Faculty of Arts since the summer semester of 2021.

The offer of individual counseling is exclusively directed to students of the University of Potsdam; primarily BA and MA students!
PhD and Postdocs please contact the PoGS.
Not booked places of other offers (workshops or Writing Night) will be given to students of other universities (on request) or PhD students of the UP.
