Bike Tour
9th June | 3:00 p.m.
Join us for a relaxed and scenic ride through the beautiful surroundings of Potsdam. Our route will take us through Geltow, Petzow and Caputh, following the shores of the Templiner See and Schwielowsee. We will stop by Castle Petzow, which will be our turning point. No special fitness level is required — it’s a casual tour meant to be fun and easy. If everyone brings a bit of food, we’ll stop along the way for a picnic in nature. It’s a great chance to explore some corners of the region that you might not see in everyday life. Some parts of the route run along roads, so it would be good if you have some cycling experience and feel confident riding in traffic.

Zoom Meet Up for new researchers

Our regular Zoom Meet-Up is addressed to soon-to-be-arriving or just-arrived researchers in Potsdam and designed to help you prepare for your stay and feel confident about the steps ahead. We will introduce the work of the Welcome Center, explain how we support you throughout your research stay, and provide essential information about housing options, local services, and practical matters you should know.
Furthermore, you can make first contacts with other international researchers. If you would like to join us and meet your international colleagues, please send us a short message. We will then send you the details.
