Potsdam

Potsdam is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a variety of things to see. In addition to Prussian palaces, parks and gardens, you can also go to concerts, theaters, cinemas and museums in Potsdam. The area surrounding Potsdam offers athletic activities in and on the water, relaxed bicycling tours, and lavish picnics in the country.

Berlin

There is something for everyone in terms of culture in Berlin, from classical concerts to a lively club culture, to internationally renowned film festivals such as the Berlinale, several museums, architectural sights, major sporting events, zoos, and places to relax in forests and on the lakes.

CINEMAS                 

Cinemas in Potsdam

  • Along with rotating exhibitions on cinema-related topics, the Film Museum offers a wide range of children’s films, current cinema, and classics, some of them with subtitles.
  • Art house cinema with a program that changes each week. Film series and cinema for children and young people. Tuesdays are cinema days with reduced admission. Monday evening screenings are always in the film’s original language, with subtitles.
  • Blockbuster cinema in Potsdam’s central train station (only in German).
  • The latest films as well as classics, screened outdoors; lounge chairs and blankets provided. You can purchase drinks and snacks at the screening, or you can bring something from home (only in German).
