Call for Creative Space: Model becomes Teaching program 2026

Funding objective	Quality development of studies and teaching Further development of teaching by teachers University-wide exchange on teaching quality and teaching innovation
Object of funding	Teaching projects that address the University of Potsdam's teaching mission statement (https://www.uni-potsdam.de/de/zfq/leitbildlehre) Teaching projects (2019-2025) already funded (only in German)
Funding period	Either the period from 01.03.2026 - 28.02.2027 or from 01.08.2026 - 31.07.2027 can be selected as the funding period. The projects must be defined in such a way that they are completed within the selected funding period.
Applicants	The call for proposals is aimed at members of the University of Potsdam - individual teachers - Teams of teachers* (e.g. study commission, chair, interdisciplinary) *teachers, private teachers and students can only submit a project application together with partners from among the academic staff and/or professors at the University of Potsdam.
Funding criteria**	Relation of the project to (one) aspect(s) of the teaching mission statement and plausible presentation of implementation Innovative project, that tests or implements something new or further develops and sustainably improves the existing; for which long-term usable concepts, structures or didactic materials are developed; which enables the transfer of results to other courses and which is evaluated and which reflects, documents and makes available the development, implementation and follow-up. ** Not eligible for funding: Expenditure attributable to basic equipment Measures aimed at expanding teaching capacity in regular teaching Projects that have already been submitted elsewhere (decision pending) or are funded by another body Projects that have already been funded via the "Innovative teaching projects" Excursions Scholarships The recruitment of staff for this project can only take place after the personnel requirements have been checked by the personnel department. The regulations, recruitment deadlines and employment periods (see Intranet) must be taken into account when planning the project.
Selection by	The jury is made up of the Vice President for Teaching, Studies and Europe, the Center for Quality Development in Teaching and Studies, a teacher perspective (former award winner of the teaching projects) and a student perspective (right of nomination for the LSK student representatives).
Application phase and deadline	From 15.07. until 05.10.2025 you can apply via the application form.
Support	You can find support for the conception of your teaching project at ZfQ/Teaching and Media. An information session and application consultation will take place digitally on September 09, 2025 at 1 pm. The access data will be published here in good time
