AI in university teaching
The University of Potsdam wishes to make lecturers and students fully aware of the advantages and disadvantages of new technologies, as these will play a key role in future processes. Indeed, a truly results-oriented, fruitful debate is only possible when we address both the opportunities and the risks for research, teaching and transfer and when we exchange ideas and opinions with other universities on a research and management-level. A panel of experts from the University of Potsdam have assembled to look beyond the technological surface and address questions surrounding "artificial intelligence" (AI) in digital teaching scenarios. Following internal consultations within the University committee, the position paper "AI and Teaching at the University of Potsdam" was adopted by the University of Potsdam's Executive Board.
