Jan P. Adam, M.A.
Research and Teaching Associate
Jan P. Adam is an academic associate for teaching and research at the Chair of Public and Nonprofit Management. His field of research is the Digital Transformation of the public sector and in particular the influence of top managers on the performance of eGovernment projects in public administration.
Jan P. Adam studied Social Sciences at the University of Cologne (B.Sc.) and Public Management and Administration at the University of Potsdam (M.A.). During his studies he worked for different governmental and non-governmental organizations. After his graduation, he first gained experience in the management of a political party and later as a research assistant in the national parliament (Deutscher Bundestag).
Since summer semester 2018, he is a PhD student at the University of Potsdam. From 2021 to 2022 he was a member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Potsdam. He was also a full member from 2020-2023 and has been a deputy member of the University of Potsdam's Digitization Advisory Board since 2023.
