Nicolas Drathschmidt, M.A.

Research and Teaching Associate

Nicolas Drathschmidt is a research and teaching associate at the Chair of Public and Nonprofit Management. He is interested in research on public personnel, employer branding and attractiveness, as well as the influence of digital transformation on stress, red tape and bureaucracy.
Nicolas Drathschmidt studied Political Science, Administration and Organization at the University of Potsdam. He also completed his master's degree in "Administrative Sciences" at the University of Potsdam. During his studies he worked as a research assistant at the chairs of Political Science, Administration and Organization as well as Public and Nonprofit Management. In addition, he worked as a student assistant for a local political association and was holder of a scholarship of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. 

Since October 2021, he has been working as a research and teaching associate at the University of Potsdam. He is or was also a reviewer for the following scientific journals:  Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART), public administration (PA), dms – der moderne staat (DMS), Information Polity (IP), International Journal of Public Administration (IJPA), Public Performance & Management Review (PPMR), Social Policy & Administration (SPOL) and Journal of Social Policy (JSP).
