If you wish to take a leave of absence for the duration of your internship abroad, you can submit an application for a leave of absence to the Office of Student Affairs. The leave of absence must be submitted during the re-registration period. It is only valid for one semester.

The application must be accompanied by appropriate proof of the reason for the leave of absence (the form “Declaration of Study Abroad Period/Internship Abroad”).

When applying for a leave of absence after the re-registration period (January 15 to February 15 for the following summer semester or June 15 to July 15 for the following winter semester), you must also submit a reason for the late application. In this case, please also note the late re-registration deadline (August 31 for the winter semester and March 15 for the summer semester).
