Potsdam coordinates European higher education alliance "European Digital UniverCity"

  • European Digital UniverCity (EDUC)

Six Universities – One European Campus

As a pioneer in Germany and Europe, the University of Potsdam is the leading partner of the “European Digital UniverCity (EDUC)”, one of 17 pilot projects for higher education alliances in the EU. With partners in France, Italy, Hungary and the Czech Republic, EDUC aims to create a truly integrated European university where students, researchers and administrative staff from five countries can work together across borders.

Working in the context of European developments relating to the European Student Card, ERASMUS without Papers and the E-Government Action Plan, EDUC aims to create shared digital structures. With the help of these shared structures, new forms of mobility, teaching and research cooperation will be developed.
