Prof. Dr. Dirk Richter is chairman of the examination board for educational sciences in the teaching profession for secondary education stages I and II and in this function is responsible for the recognition of study and examination credits, for the granting of compensation for disadvantages and for the confirmation of the subject assignment sheets in this subject. Please note the following procedures for the respective concerns:
Registration of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis in the teaching profession in secondary education I/II.
For the preparation of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, a topic assignment sheet must be submitted. Before registering the thesis, the sheet must be filled out completely and the first and second supervisors of the thesis must sign it. It should be noted that the first examiner must have at least a doctorate and one of the two examiners must regularly teach in the subprogram Educational Sciences. The completed and signed form is then sent by e-mail to Prof. Dr. Dirk Richter (dirk.richteruuni-potsdampde). The document is then checked and signed and sent back to the student.
Application for recognition of study and examination credits
For the recognition of study and examination credits, you must first download an application form from the homepage of the University of Potsdam. Please make sure that you choose the correct form (course of study Educational Sciences for Secondary Stages I and II) and that you choose the most current study regulations. Please fill out the first page of the form with your personal data and send the application together with the overview of the achievements to be recognized as well as a module description of the contents of the achievements to be recognized by e-mail to Prof. Dr. Dirk Richter (dirk.richteruuni-potsdampde). Then make an appointment to discuss the application form in the office hours.
Application for disadvantage compensation
In order to apply for a disadvantage compensation, please fill out the corresponding form of the university and send it by e-mail together with the corresponding proof documents (e.g. birth certificate or medical certificate) to Prof. Dr. Dirk Richter (dirk.richteruuni-potsdampde). The application will then be processed and returned by e-mail.
