Coaching

Coaching is an innovative form of personal development. It supports the reflexion of your career plans as well as important decisions regarding further career steps or reorientations. In addition, coaching can be both process-oriented and targeted.

The Potsdam Graduate School supports PhD candidates, Postdocs, Juniorprofs and New Appointees at the University of Potsdam with coaching. Coaching is supported for a maximum of 4.5 hours.

There is no application deadline. You can apply for coaching at any time within the available financial means.

How do I receive coaching?

• Select a suitable coach from the list below. If required, we will support you in choosing the right coach.
• Fill out the application form, print it out and sign it.
• Attach your admission to doctoral studies or your certificate of attendance for a completed course in the section “Career Development & Orientation” to your application.
• Send your application by post or email to Potsdam Graduate School (PoGS).
• Once you have received your confirmation of sponsorship, you arrange the coaching appointments individually with the coach of your choice.

The coaching is part of the individual support of Postdocs, Juniorprofs and New Appointees of the University of Potsdam. These are supported within the limits of the available funds with up to 2,000 € per person and year.

• Once you have received your confirmation of sponsorship, you arrange the coaching appointments individually with the coach of your choice.
