Publication Cost Subsidies
The Potsdam Graduate School can grant its members - PhD candidates and Postdocs & Qualification Professors of the University of Potsdam - subsidies for publications. This is done in the context of your PhD or Postdoc project in order to secure the results of your own research work and to make them accessible to a professional audience. There is no application deadline. You can submit your application for a subsidy at any time
Prerequisite for a subsidy
- Membership in the Potsdam Graduate School
- Peer reviewed publication of your own research results
- PhD Candidates: Publication costs can be applied for peer-reviewed publications of your own research results in the context of your dissertation or Postdoc projects. The Potsdam Graduate School grants subsidies for printed publications that are available in the book trade and for electronic publications - but not for the printing and binding of deposit copies.
- Postdocs & Qualification Professors: As a postdoc you cannot receive a "postdoc subsidy" for publications that are part of your dissertation. If you were previously a member of the PoGS as a PhD candidate, you can take advantage of the "PhD candidate Subsidy" in compliance with the applicable criteria.
Please also read the information on publication cost subsidies in the download section below.
