Entrepreneurial skills and management qualifications

Participants can acquire a program certificate, after completion of the following three criteria:

  • Participation in all or a selection of Science meets Market (EPE)-Workshops
    (at least 80% of the current course offer, about 10.5 workshop days)
  • Preparation of an Elevator Pitch and participation in the Elevator Pitch Event
  • Reflection and online evaluation of the workshops

Furthermore, the modular structure of the program allows participants to only visit a selection of workshops according to their individual needs and interests, if sufficient capacities are available.

The program features workshops from the fields “Business-Oriented Thinking and Acting / Entrepreneurial Skills” and “General Management Competencies”.

Objective of the program

The aim of the program is to familiarize you with entrepreneurial skills and business-oriented thinking and action: In addition to basics of marketing, Science meets Market (EPE) teaches start-up-relevant topics such as business planning and financing. In the Science meets Market courses you develop extensive methodological knowledge and strengthen your social skills. Topics include for example

  • negotiation techniques
  • creativity techniques
  • Leadership & Team Management and
  • project management

During the workshops you can apply the theoretical knowledge in project work and develop business ideas in multidisciplinary teams.
