Coordinator for the Jewish Studies programme

Marie Behrendt is the coordinator for the Jewish Studies programme and a doctoral candiate of the Historcial Institute at the University of Potsdam. Her doctoral thesis "In Between Times. Visions of German Jewry in its International Press in the 1950s" is being supervised by Prof. Dr.  Thomas Brechenmacher (Potsdam) and Prof. Dr.  Joachim Schlör (Southampton). Marie is an adjunct fellow at the Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society, University of Haifa. She completed her studies in Jewish Studies, Spanish Philology, Gender Studies and History in Potsdam, Southampton and Berlin in 2017.
