Aiko Schmeißer studied International Economics (M.Sc.) at the University of Göttingen as well as Economics (B.Sc.) and International Economics and Development (B.A.) at the University of Bayreuth. He is a doctoral student at the Berlin School of Economics and the Uni Potsdam. Since October 2021, he works as a research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Economics. His research interests are in the fields of Labor Economics, Political Economy, and International Trade.
