E-Assessment

Assessment for Learning: Formative examinations are used throughout the semester. Examples are the continuous use of the feedback function in Moodle or the Clicker systems, with which voting can be carried out in large courses, digital learning diaries and portfolios or the app Reflect.UP to accompany the introductory study phase.

Formative e-assessments provide both students and teachers with module-accompanying feedback on the learning process. In face-to-face teaching, this often involves assignments or presentations. E-assessments can be carried out flexibly and over the entire module: Learning gaps can thus be identified at an early stage. This gives teachers the opportunity to control the learning process by aligning their own teaching according to the assessment results. Formative e-assessments are also an instrument for assuring the quality of one's own teaching: teaching pace and question quality can be continuously adjusted on the basis of the examination results. Possible applications are:

• Intermediate tests for self-learning
