Dr. Katrin Huber
Katrin Huber was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Empirical Economics and coordinator of the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA) from March 2021 to September 2026. Her main research fields are labor economics, family economics, gender economics and policy evaluation. Katrin completed her doctoral studies in 2019 at the University of Passau with her dissertation on „Empirical Essays on Decision-Making Within Families: Determinants and Consequences of Family Labor Supply”. Her dissertation was honoured with the “Karl Paul Hensel” award by the “Doris und Dr. Michael Hagemann” foundation in 2020.
Since October 2026, Katrin has joined the Department of Economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as an Associate Professor of Economics.
