New sociological colloquium this summer semester

The section sociology is once again hosting a colloquium. Beginning in May, the section's members will present research findings on a wide array of topics - covering everything from digitization to class structure and language acquisition of refugees. The meetings will take place on-site roughly once a month. All students and staff are very welcome! More information can be found here.

Interdisciplinary perspectives on the war in Ukraine

There will be an open talk about the Ukraine war on June, 23. Prof. Verwiebe will be attending this interdisciplinary discussion organized by the FSR Sociology, FSR Slavic Studies, FSR Philosophy and the VeFa. It will be moderated by Dr. Bohdan Tokarskyi. Experts from various fields of study will discuss how different historical, socio-economic and geopolitical perspectives are relevant for the war in Ukraine and what their consequences may be for people both here and in Ukraine.
