≠ transformation

We hope for a lively exchange and a lot of fun with the content! Contributions are possible and welcome.

A deserted campus, closed offices, S-Bahn trains without passengers, empty dormitories, the canteen and library closed until further notice – since 2020, the restrictions decided in the course of the Covid-19 pandemic have radically changed both work and life at the University of Potsdam. Instead: Home office, homeschooling, homelearning, new everyday structures, employees and students with children without care, students who lost their side jobs and may find new ones, social isolation. It is obvious that in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Germany is undergoing a massive transformation that affects people in different ways. This is the starting point for our blog, which is intended to provide students and an interested and critical public with a platform to publish texts on the current situation and on future issues of the ongoing German transformation.
