Prof. Dr. Andrea Liese's research interests include the analysis of international organizations, international norms, and trans- and international human rights policy.
After studying Political Science, Law, Sociology, and German language and literature at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Andrea Liese received her doctorate from the University of Bremen. After her doctorate, she was a research assistant at Freie Universität and on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship at Harvard University. From 2007-2009 she was a junior professor at Humboldt University Berlin and since 2010 she is a professor at the University of Potsdam.
Prof. Dr. Andrea Liese is, among other things, a member of the Research Advisory Board of the German United Nations Association (DGVN), the Advisory Board of the Development and Peace Foundation, and the Board of Trustees of the Berlin Graduate School of Global and Transregional Studies.
