The Introductory Study Phase

The acquisition of basic academic skills at the beginning of your studies is an essential requirement for their successful conclusion. The training and development of generic competences takes place primarily in teaching and learning opportunities that are offered or supported by the Center for Languages and Key Competences (ZESSKO).

The “Successful start in university studies for international students” program

assists international students as they prepare for their university studies in terms of their academic discipline, scientific methodology, and intercultural capacities.

Teaching Quality Pact - “Development of the structured introductory study phase”

is a sub-project of the federal government/state program “For better study conditions and more quality in teaching.” This sub-project supports beginning students in the acquisition of basic skills.
