Our IP@UP seminar series dedicates each issue to a specific aspect of intellectual property protection at the university and informs you about the support offered by the university. We look forward to your participation!

Why do I need IP rights? What are they anyway? What do I protect with a patent, a trademark, a design application? And how can the university help me? In our next edition of IP@UP, you will learn the basics of industrial property rights and their significance for your research or a planned spin-off.

Our speaker will be Dr Sven Lange (Patent Attorney, European Trademark & Design Attorney, European Patent Attorney) from the law firm HERTIN & PARTNER in Berlin.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Please register by 21.02.2024 using the form below. You will receive the access data for ZOOM the day before the event.
