Science Slam Coaching
How do you manage to convey scientific and usually dry topics in a way that everyone can understand? Do you want to visualise your research for others but don't know how to get started? Then our Science Slam Coaching is just right for you!
For aspiring slammers, our coaching on 30 May 2024 offers the right basis for upcoming science slams.
During the workshop, you will receive the most important tips and tools for this form of science communication. Starting with a storyboard and the linguistic means to the actual presentation and interaction with the audience. However, the workshop is not exclusively intended for aspiring slammers. Those who often have to give short presentations in their everyday lives and would like to improve their presentation skills are also very welcome.
The workshop will be led by Anna Berlich and Rebecca Wilbertz from the Wissenschaft im Dialog initiative, the science organisation for science communication in Germany. Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Please register by 24 May 2024 on the german website.
The next opportunity to perform on stage is on 11 July 2024 at the 3rd Golm Science Slam at the University of Potsdam.
