Dr. Sylvi Rzepka

Sylvi Rzepka worked from April 2019 to February 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Empirical Economic Research at the University of Potsdam. From 2013 to 2019 she worked as a researcher at RWI - Leibniz-Institute for Economic Research in the department “Labor Markets, Education, Population”. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from TU Dresden in 2009 and her Master of Arts in International Economics from Georg-August University Göttingen in 2013. During her Masters she visited University of California Berkeley, USA as a Fulbright student. She completed her doctoral studies at the Ruhr University Bochum in 2017. Her dissertation covers  “Lifelong Learning in Context – From Local Labor Markets to the World Wide Web”.

Looking at projects in higher education and continuing education, she focused on the interface between educational economics and behavioral economics. 

Since March 2021 she works as Data Scientist at the Deutsche Bahn.
