Sylvia Thun is many things - a doctor, an engineer and a professor. She is also the director of the Digital Medicine and Interoperability Core Unit at the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité. She researches and teaches on information and communication technologies and standardization in healthcare and co-founded the #SheHealth initiative, which aims to make women visible in digital medicine, for which she received the FTAfelicitas Award 2021.
