The Alumni network thrives on the commitment of its members

More than 10 years ago the University of Potsdam launched an alumni program according to the motto "We stay in touch". Around 11,000 of our former students, employees or researchers wish to stay in touch with their alma mater. Many of them are willing to give something back in the future based on their own experiences, whether as speakers, mentors, or supporters of projects. In order to strenghten the alumni spirit and the commitment that comes with it, the contribution of each and every alumnus/alumna is very important to us. Continue to stay connected to your alma mater and actively help us to shape our university.

Become a member of the UP association

The Universitätsgesellschaft Potsdam e.V. supports as a non-profit association scientific and cultural projects as well as events of the University of Potsdam for more than 25 years.

In this format for discussion and meeting, graduates from various degree programs share their experiences and provide insights into their professional fields.

Give Students a Chance to Grow

Become a sponsor and support committed students in need in a field of your choice with a university scholarship. Every donation counts and is appreciated.

Accompany female lawyers as a mentor

Get involved in the mentoring program "JurMeP", an initiative to support female law students at the University of Potsdam.

Become part of our Mentoring Plus program

We are always looking for people who have the desire and time to volunteer as mentors and help female students enter work life.

Offer workshops and trainings

Are you a coach or trainer? The Career Service of the UP is always looking for new formats for the semi-annual changing range of events.

Offer internships and jobs

You can offer jobs and internships in the practice portal of the Career Service of the University of Potsdam. Job offers are exclusively accessible for students and alumni of the University of Potsdam
