Your alma mater wants to stay in touch with you. Therefore we would be glad about your registration on our network alumni portal where you can get in contact with your former fellow students or teachers and learn about the latest news and events at your former university. Moreover, you can:
- upload and share documents, pictures or articles
- profit from the offers on our job portal
- participate in forum or group discussions or in surveys
- stay informed about upcoming events via newsletter
You receive an automated confirmation email after your registration on alumni portaland in the following we send you your login data (username and password) which you can change afterwards as you wish.
Once you are on the portal sites you can fill in your personal information in the tab my profile. Further, you can decide which data you want to share with the community in the tab settings. As a next step you can decide which communities you want to join. The community Alumni Newsis a general community where every member is registered automatically.
What do I do if I can’t remember my alumni portal password?
If you don't remember your password, you'll need to reset it to access your account. In this case you click the button “forgot login?” and type in your email address and the security code and then enter with “submit”. You will be sent a new password within minutes on the given email address. Please feel free to contact us in case you need further advice.
I didn´t receive the magazine Portal alumni, why?
Be sure to always update your personal data on your account at alumni portal. If your current address is different from the address on your account, please contact us via email. We send you our magazine as soon as possible. In case your address is updated and you still didn´t receive the magazine, please contact us. We will try to solve the problem.
What contribution can I make to my alma mater?
There are several ways to make your individual contribution as alumni. The Career Service is happy to welcome you as a mentor or as a provider for an internship for current students. If you want to share your studying or working experience with our readers of the Portal alumni magazine, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

In order for us to keep in touch with you and inform you about the various offers within the alumni work, we require your personal registration in the Alumni Portal.
In addition, you can also allow us to contact you after completing your studies, e.g. for surveys of graduates or to draw your attention to your graduation ceremony in good time. All you have to do is check the box in PULS.
To do this, please log in to PULS, where you can check the box in "Data protection settings." You can revoke this consent to data processing at PULS at this point at any time and without explanation during enrollment at the University of Potsdam. After you de-register from the University, you will no longer have access to PULS and can therefore send your revocation by email to kontaktpflegeuuni-potsdampde The University administration will then change your registration settings.
If you decide after your exmatriculation that you would like to allow us to contact you, for example for graduate surveys, this can also be done by sending an e-mail to kontaktpflegeuuni-potsdampde
