How can research create impact beyond academia?

In the HOW TO TRANSFER workshop, you will explore your personal understanding of knowledge transfer using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology. Together, we will uncover how your research can generate value for society, industry, public administration, and education. 

By building and storytelling with LEGO® models, you will examine your research from new perspectives, identify potential fields of application, and discover opportunities to translate your research into real-world impact. Together, we will reflect on the stakeholders, target groups, and collaboration partners that could play a role in bringing your research into practice and identify concrete next steps. 

HOW TO TRANSFER is the starting point of the Transfer Labs program, which offers a diverse portfolio of professional development opportunities in knowledge transfer. Building on the workshop, we will support you in identifying the most suitable training opportunities and developing your individual knowledge transfer journey. 

No prior experience in knowledge transfer is required—curiosity and an openness to new perspectives are all you need.

To enable as many researchers as possible to participate, HOW TO TRANSFER is offered on two different dates. Please choose the session that best fits your schedule and register for your preferred date. Both workshops cover the same content.
