| 1 | 28 January 2026 13:00–14:00 | Leading by Example: Getting Started with Open Science Presenters: Boris Jacob (University of Potsdam) & Herman Strøm (University of South-Eastern Norway) This opening seminar introduces practical entry points for implementing Open Science at institutional and individual levels. |
| 2 | 26 February 2026 13:00-14:00 | European Open Science Cloud (EOSC): From Vision to Implementation Presenters: Olga Bohuslavová (Masaryk University) This seminar provides an overview of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) as a pan-European initiative supporting open science and data-driven research in Europe. It introduces the main goals, governance structure and current achievements of EOSC, with particular emphasis on the emerging EOSC Federation. The presentation also highlights the Czech national approach to EOSC implementation, illustrating how European priorities are translated into national strategies and activities. |
| 3 | 25 March 2026 13:00–14:00 | From Data to Code: How Libraries Advance Open Science Practices on Source Code Through Data Management Clusters Presenters: Damien Belveze (University of Rennes) This webinar explores how university libraries support researchers in managing and sharing source code in line with Open Science policies. The University of Rennes encourages researchers to archive source code in Software Heritage, link code to publications in HAL, and use persistent identifiers such as SWHID. However, much research code remains hosted on external platforms without clear licensing or institutional visibility. The presentation introduces the ARDoISE Data Management Cluster and outlines ongoing efforts to improve source code visibility, compliance, and collaboration across institutional stakeholders. |
| 4 | 29 April 2026 13:00–14:00 | How to Manage My Research Data – Methods, Tools and Support Presenters: Cecile Swiatek Cassafieres (University Paris Nanterre), Boris Jacob (University of Potsdam), Dag-Even Torsøe (University of South-Eastern Norway), Marie-Christine Jacquemot-Perbal (INIST-CNRS) This webinar addresses the growing importance of Data Management Plans (DMPs) as both a funder requirement and a cornerstone of high-quality, reusable, FAIR research. Moving beyond the perception of DMPs as administrative obligations, the session demonstrates how structured data management planning enhances research quality, collaboration, and long-term impact. Speakers present institutional and national support models, including RDMO (Germany), OPIDoR (France), and RDM services at USN, while also discussing shared responsibilities across institutional and European levels. |
