Potsdam, Am Neuen Palais (Thu, 29 May/ Sat, 31 May and Sun, 1 June)

Embedded in Potsdam’s unique cultural landscape, in close proximity to the Prussian palaces and gardens, the still relatively young University of Potsdam has established itself at three locations. The conference will be hosted at the central campus Am Neuen Palais that is home to the neues palaisFaculty of Arts. It is situated vis-à-vis the palace Neues Palais in the Park of Sanssouci, which was the former royal guesthouse of the Prussian kings. The institutes of the Faculty of Arts are in the Communs, the prestigious annexes of the Neues Palais, made up of eighteenth century baroque buildings with staircases, porticos, cupolas, and rich ornamentation.

The campus is close to Berlin and can easily be reached by public transport.

Werkstatt der Kulturen (WdK) is the only not for profit organisation in Berlin which focuses exclusively on the vast field of transcultural arts. The WdK regularly provides space for performances, exhibitions and discussions across the spheres of music, film, dance and literature.
