Changes to the conditions of participation in connection with COVID-19 cannot be ruled out due to political decisions. This does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund of the course fee.

Rules of conduct when attending face-to-face courses in times of COVID-19

Last update: 03.04.2022

As of April 3, the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Basic Measures Ordinance will be in effect in Brandenburg, Germany, which will override all previous protective measures for sports. For the time being, the ordinance is valid until April 30, 2022.

Even though there are no longer any restrictions for sports, we would like to ask you to still keep in mind the following rules of conduct on and in all sports facilities used by Hochschulsport Potsdam:

Only healthy to the course/training

Please come to class or training only in a healthy condition and without symptoms. If in doubt, please stay home and consult a physician. Additional contraindications for massage can be read here.

Sports facilities

Access to the sports facilities (indoor & outdoor) is again open to all.

Use of locker rooms & showers

The locker rooms and showers are available for full use.

Responsible behavior

Please remember that infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is still possible quickly and the risk is even higher without protective measures. Your actions have a significant impact on preserving our sports and exercise programs. Instead of shaking hands, a smile and wave may still be enough. Be considerate and responsible. Protect yourselves and others - it's the only way we can provide what we all want to experience again to the fullest extent.

Obligation to wear a medical mask

The wearing of a medical mask is still mandatory in all university buildings of the University of Potsdam and in the sports facilities of the Hochschulsport Potsdam until further notice. This also applies to massage treatments. The obligation to wear a mask does not apply during sports activities.

Risk of infection

Please be aware that some risk of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus cannot be ruled out when participating in group sports, despite everyone's prudent behavior.

Inform us

If the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been detected in the laboratory in yourself or in persons living in the same household, please inform us so that we can sensitize participants of the same course accordingly.

In case of acute respiratory symptoms you should follow the coughing and sneezing rules as well as good hand hygiene and follow the recommendation of the RKI.

Support us

Both our exercise instructors and the college sports staff do their best to provide you with safe exercise sessions. Please follow them and the instructions/rules of the exercise instructors. Help us to continue to provide a safe, shared athletic experience.
