Status 16.10.2020
Instructions apply from the upcoming course period (02.11.2020-21.12.2020)
Only healthy into training
You are only allowed to train when you are healthy. Do you have a fever? You have a dry cough? You feel tired? You are plagued by sore throat, aching limbs or headaches? You wonder about a lack of sense of taste/smell? If you have to answer "yes" to any of these questions, please stay at home.
Inform us
If you have had personal contact with a person in whom the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been detected in the laboratory, you must contact the responsible public health department immediately, regardless of symptoms. If you have acute respiratory symptoms, the RKI recommends that you follow the rules for coughing and sneezing, as well as good hand hygiene, and consult a doctor after making an appointment by telephone. If you test positive for Covid-19, please inform the Athletic Department of the University immediately.
Keep a minimum distance
Always and everywhere keep a minimum distance of 1.5 to 2 metres - whether on the way to training, in training itself and on the way back. For running sessions, it is recommended to run side by side and not behind each other. For stationary training, keep a distance of 3 to 4 metres (e.g. circuit training, group fitness, etc.).
Team and contact sports
Team sports with a maximum number of participants of 30 are exempt from the minimum distance.
Contact sports are also possible without a minimum distance in small groups of a maximum of five people (including the trainer). Within the course, fixed small groups are formed for the duration of the whole course, which are recorded accordingly in writing. It is not permitted to mix the small groups or to swap within the groups.
Clean & disinfected hands
Take 30 seconds. If necessary, wash and disinfect your hands at the beginning and end of training. This also applies after blowing your nose, sneezing or going to the toilet. Please use the soap/disinfectant dispensers provided or always have soap/disinfectant with you if necessary.
Arrive in sportswear if possible
Please come in sportswear if possible, as we can only provide very limited capacities due to the applicable regulations, despite the opening of the changing rooms and showers.
Acting responsibly
Please remember that your actions have a significant impact on receiving our (transitional) offer. Instead of shaking hands, just smile and wave. Be considerate and responsible. Protect yourselves and others - this is the only way we can offer you what you have been denied for the last few weeks.
Residual risk
Please be aware that despite extensive precautions and adherence to all hygiene and distance rules, a residual risk of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus cannot be ruled out when participating in group sports.
Supports rubbing becomes possible again.
Both our exercise instructors and the university sports staff do their best to provide you with safe training sessions. Follow these and the instructions/rules of the exercise instructors. Help us to make it possible to do sports together again.
