Misclicked during booking or a free place at the desired time? Rebooking in case of free capacity or transfer to another person is possible in justified exceptional cases. Amounts already paid will be credited against the fees for the new sports course or excursion. In the case of a transfer to a cheaper course, no refund will be made. In case of a rebooking into a more expensive course, the payment of the remaining participation fee will be arranged by direct debit.
Please use the form provided for a requested rebooking. We will then review the requests as they are received and see what is possible.
You have seen that a place has become available in your desired course and have registered there directly. Now you want to change your original booking to this course. In this case, too, we ask you to fill out the rebooking form and, upon receipt, we will check whether we can carry out the rebooking on the basis of the conditions of participation.
Participants have no right to cancel a binding booking of a sports offer. In justified exceptional cases, however, we reserve the right to make exceptions as a gesture of goodwill. You can read about these exceptions in our conditions of participation under "Rebooking and Cancellation".
Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged. Please use the form provided for a cancellation. We will then review the requests as they are received and see what is possible.
The Academic Sports Center Potsdam may combine or cancel courses if there are too few registrations. In the event that a course is cancelled without substitution, the participant will receive a refund of the fees paid.
If individual course dates are cancelled, for example due to illness of the instructor, the Acadmic Sports Center will try to provide a substitute or, if necessary, offer a make-up date (see also Cancellation of sports courses without entitlement to compensation).
Failure to attend sporting events without entitlement to compensation:
If a course is fully booked, it is possible to sign up for the "waiting list" with the e-mail address and thus register with the notification service of the Academic Sports Center. As soon as a place becomes available in the desired course, all persons on the waiting list are informed of this simultaneously by e-mail. The person who makes the first booking will receive the free course place.
Sure, we have all our current sports facilities displayed on a map under Sports Facilities. You can even take a virtual look at some of them.
To contact the instructor, you can use the contact form on our homepage. To do this, simply look at the course page of your booked sports course and click on the name of the instructor in the table with the course number, course time and booking button and use the mail mask that opens.
You can find a sports partner exchange on the university sports website. You can use this to search for dance or squash partners etc. or look at the requests of other athletes.
The number and duration of our courses do not comply with the standards required by the health insurance companies. Therefore, it is not possible to apply for a subsidy. Excluded from this are the courses listed separately.
The confirmation of participation is displayed as an HTML page - i.e. an Internet page. This format can be saved, printed and sent on any computer and does not require any additional software. If the confirmation is no longer available, you can contact the office of academic Sports Center by email. They will send you a new confirmation of participation as a PDF.
This circumstance is subject to personal decision and does not justify a claim for reimbursement. However, if a participant is absent without excuse for the third time in a row, the place will be reallocated and the claim expires without substitution.
The Academic Sport Center processes the personal data of participants only to the extent necessary for the respective contract and in compliance with data protection regulations.
If any questions remain unanswered, please feel free to contact the office of the Academic Sports Center hochschulsportuuni-potsdam.de.
