Elections at the University of Potsdam
Many different bodies operate at the university, which are composed by different status groups. Accordingly, the number of elections that take place is large. The elections in which a person may participate at the University of Potsdam depend on the constituency and status group.
In university elections, all relevant members of the University of Potsdam have the active and passive right to vote (i.e. may vote and run for election). Membership is governed by Article 1 of the Grundordnung (GrundO)(version of 14.12.2022). All other persons working at the university are members. They only have active voting rights (may only vote).
