Curriculum Vitae

After completing my high school education with a focus on foreign languages in Verona, Italy, I moved to Potsdam to study English and Spanish to become a secondary school teacher. During my studies, I spent one semester at the Universidad de Murcia in Spain as well as one at SUNY Cortland in the United States. Alongside my studies, I worked as a teacher at the Helen Doron School of English and was involved in the tjfbg’s Schule in den Ferien project, which supported students in addressing learning gaps following the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2023, I joined the English Language Education Chair at the University of Potsdam as a student assistant, where I became involved in the Leistung macht Schule (LemaS) project, focusing on talent development and complex competence tasks. My work in the project sparked my interest in exploring this field further. I am currently pursuing a PhD investigating the perceptions and perspectives of school students participating in the LemaS project, with a particular focus on their experiences with complex competence tasks and the potential of these tasks to foster their strengths, talents and interests.
