I studied English, German and German as a Foreign Language (DaZ/F) at Leibniz University Hannover and John Moores University Liverpool. After obtaining my teaching degree (First State Exam) in 2006, I worked as a research assistant at the TEFL Department of Leibniz University Hannover and started my PhD, an empirical study on narrative skills in the EFL classroom.
After finishing my teacher training and Second State Exam in 2013, I continued to teach English and German at Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemens-Gymnasium in Berlin for several years (2013-2020).
I also worked as a lecturer at the TEFL departments of Leibniz University (summer terms 2015, 2019) and TU Braunschweig (winter term 2015/16) before joining the TEFL team in Potsdam in October 2020.
