Please direct your request to only one of the persons listed below. We will ensure that your request is passed on to the appropriate addressee if necessary. That will help us to reduce the processing time of the inquiries. Thank you.

Dear students, due to the overall situation created by the CORONAVIRUS, the personal office hours and phone hours in the International Office will be canceled immediately and until further notice.

Inquiries can be made by email.

Quarantine upon Entry

For travellers entering Germany after a stay abroad of several days, a 14-day mandatory quarantine will be ordered as of Friday, 10 April 2020. This means that travellers entering Germany are obliged to "go straight to their home [...] immediately after entry". Upon arrival at the place of domestic quarantine, you are also obliged to report yourself to the local health authority. You will find further information in the press release of the Federal Ministry of the Interior.

During the 14-day quarantine you are not allowed to leave your home, not even for a short time and not even for grocery shopping. You are also not allowed to receive visitors during this time. If you need help during this time, you can contact the following by e-mail or partially by telephone:

- The International Office of the University of Potsdam

- Your buddy, if you participate in the Buddy Program of the University of Potsdam

- The residence hall tutors, if you live in the residence hall of the Studentenwerk Potsdam: wohnen@studentenwerk-potsdam.de
