Mentors and mentees wanted for the EDUC Mentoring Programme. Participation expands job-specific knowledge and skills and promotes the development of professional networks and self-reflection. Applications for mentors are open until 6 February 2026. Applications for mentees are open between 16 February and 13 March 2026.
EDUC Online Course On Initiation To Research and Critical Thinking
This asynchronous self-study course is aimed at students of all semesters and introduces nine key topics in academic work. The course is open from January to June 2026, and enrolment is possible until 31 May 2026.
Call for proposals: Access to EDUC research infrastructures
Once again, EDUC is providing access to selected core facilities and research infrastructures at its partner universities as part of EDUC-WIDE. Researchers and doctoral candidates at our university are invited to submit their project proposals by 27 February 2026.
The online course is aimed at young researchers. Learn key skills for starting your career after completing your doctorate. The next course runs from 16 March to 17 July 2026. Enrolment is open until 14 March 2026.
Bachelor's and Master's students are offered the opportunity to complete a (research) internship at all partner universities and gain international professional experience. Please note the individual application deadlines.
Call for Applications: Research & Innovation Fellowships
Funding is available for short- to medium-term research stays for scientists at all career stages (R1–R4) – from doctoral candidates to professors. The call for applications is open until 1 November 2026 at the latest.
EDUC promotes cooperation between teachers and researchers at the eight partner universities by providing financial support for short-term stays by (young) scientists at EDUC universities.
Summer School in Burriana 2025 – International exchange of students and lecturers
The travel diary of the 4th International Course ‘Archaeology and Cultures of the Ancient Mediterranean’ provides insights into the daily experiences of the Potsdam students. Their participation in the research trip was made possible by the EDUC University Alliance and Erasmus+ participation grants.
