On November 6 and 7, 2025, the annual conference of the UNIcert® association took place, this time at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Almost 140 participants, who teach foreign languages in a university setting both in Germany and abroad, accepted the host's invitation to the workshop on the topic of “UNIcert® reimagined – teaching and testing in times of social and digital change.”

In seven working groups, the participants dealt with highly topical issues such as integrated testing and assessment, digital examinations, AI-supported teaching and testing, as well as intercultural communication and critical thinking.

Zessko teachers also traveled to Halle, either as participants or as working group leaders, to engage with the topics of the workshop in a practical way, to present and develop new ideas, and to search together for answers to questions that concern all foreign language teachers in times of social and digital change. The annual workshop offered exciting insights, opened up new perspectives, and, lastly, served to refresh existing contacts and establish new ones.

We look forward to seeing you again at the latest 27th UNIcert® annual workshop in Greifswald!
