April 2025: Ambassador of Namibia visits Potsdam
On April 15, a delegation from the University of Potsdam - including the President Prof. Oliver Günther and NamTip project leader Prof. Anja Linstädter - warmly welcomed the Ambassador of Namibia, H.E. Martin Andjaba, during his visit to the university.
The meeting focused on ongoing collaborations with Namibian universities, particularly within the framework of joint research projects such as NamTip. One of the key outcomes of the discussion was a shared commitment to strengthening academic mobility between Namibia and Germany, with the aim of expanding exchange opportunities for students, lecturers, and researchers.
Looking ahead, Prof. Günther will travel to Namibia in June to take part in the Final NamTip Meeting. This visit will also offer an opportunity for further dialogue with his counterparts at the University of Namibia (UNAM) and the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), laying the groundwork for continued and deepened cooperation.
